Pocklington CE Infant School is a happy school where children love learning. Our mission is to provide quality learning experiences that enable everyone to reach their potential within a stimulating, safe Christian ethos and environment.
Along with our focus on academics, we recognise the importance of pupils social and emotional development. We have staff trained to support your child develop good mental health and self esteem. We work in close partnership with our pupils, their parents and carers and our local community, particularly All Saints Church in Pocklington. We are proud to be a Church School and our Christian Values are central to everything we do.
I was honoured to be appointed as Headteacher in September 2017. I have the pleasure of leading a hardworking and skilled staff, who are dedicated to providing the very best education in a warm, caring and stimulating environment. We all strive to ensure your child flourishes whilst they are in our care. Our parents, in a recent survey, indicated that one of our main strengths is that the children love coming to school and feel safe when they are here, we want to ensure that this continues for many years to come.
