GDPR (Data Protection)

A new privacy law is being introduced in the UK. As a result, we’re publishing a new Privacy Notice to make it easier for you to find out how we use and protect your information within our school. We won’t be changing the ways we use your personal information, but the new notice will provide you with additional details such as:

  • Increased rights in relation to the information we hold about you
  • How we keep your personal information secure
  • The types of personal information we collect about you and how we collect it and use it
  • The legal grounds for how we use your information 

The school has appointed East Riding of Yorkshire Council to be the Data Protection Officer as part of a traded service.  To contact the school regarding any data protection matters please email office@pocklington-infants.org.uk

Staff training.... teachers, teaching assistants, nursery nurse, office staff, and cook complete an e-Learning course provided by the East Riding County Council.  Other staff have received written information about their responsibilities under GDPR.
